Future Lady Plainsmen

Over 30 1st-6th graders attended a skills clinic in July hosted by the OHS team & coaches.  It was a fun week with the future of our program!  

We are looking forward to introducing the girls at our first home volleyball matches on September 2.  Make sure and mark your calendars :)

Our Teams

These are the 3 groups that played in Lakin last week. Unfortunately, we missed getting 1 team picture but we have one of them playing! It was a great day for volleyball and to have so many girls playing!

 

Lakin Volleyball

We spent the day at Lakin after a week of camp. TWENTY players divided in to 3 teams, 3 coaches & 13 matches makes for quite a bit of playing time!!! Big thank you to Coach Weber & Coach Lehman for making the day possible and coming to coach. We saw some great things today ... Anyone who has some pictures they want to share I could add to the blog, please email or text them to me. Thanks!

Open Gym Update

I will be at the gym on Monday-Thursday from 8-9 am.  We are working on volleyball skills & also have time to do basketball skills too.  Any day you can make it is great & will be beneficial come the first day of practice.  I also completely understand that this is summer and you have many activities going on ... if you are busy, no problem ... come the days you can.  This is a great time to break bad habits.

Open Gym

I will be scheduling open gym times later this month!  I will message the girls through Remind 101 when I have days & times set up.

Summer Weights & Open Gym

The weight room will be open beginning June 9, Monday-Thursday

Girls will start with open gym time 8-9 am with weights to follow from 9-10 am.

We will divide the open gym times with Coach Pfannenstiel and basketball skills.  I will let you know the days that will be used for volleyball.

This weight room time will be only for girls.  It would be great to see a large number of you in there on a regular basis.  Buddy up, take a friend or 2 with you & have fun together!

Summer Team Camp

Our summer camp has been scheduled for July 7-11 at 5:00 pm.  Camp will last about 2 hours.

We are also doing a skills clinic for the younger girls in the mornings that week, Monday-Thursday.  I would like for as many girls as possible to help with this.  They can help with all 3 sessions or just 1 or 2.
